Ticketed!

The flight is booked! Somehow having that confirmed itinerary makes the experience so much more real and tangible. And it will be here before I know it! In less than a month, I will be moved out of my apartment and packing for Kenya. My first year of graduate school is nearly done and Comps are only a 2 1/2 weeks away. Where does the time go?

Still - there is a lot of do. I constantly make lists in my head and I think my friends and family must think I am going crazy. Typhoid shot! Visa! Lit review! Hotel booking in Amsterdam! But things are slowly getting checked off the list now. I got the ticket booked and my passport has been renewed. I registered for summer classes and paid the tuition bill (yikes). I prepared the draft of my learning agreement for the University. They really should have told us that planning the summer practicum is a class all in its own!

On top of this summer experience, I am planning a vacation to Canada as well. One day it was a bright idea and the next, my neighbor and I booked one-way flights to Ottawa and returning one-way flights from Bangor! This is really going to be the summer of a lifetime!
